Wonderful collection. I am impressed. thanks for sharing.
I always love hearing about beautiful rocks...and Texas :-)
Your pictures were interesting too; I think I found a very similar one in Arizona this summer - the Lianite, only the inclusions were very pale bluish-grey. Amazing! Thank you for sharing and welcome to Hubpages too!
I love rocks...have collected them for years and many adorn our garden...have even written a hub about that. When visiting the Petrified Forest in Arizona I purchased some beautiful petrified wood as bookends; an object of art displayed on an easel and some rings. Really enjoyed your hub. Rating it useful...rock hounds will certainly find it so!
I really liked your photographs of rocks and gems from Texas. Beautiful! I used to collect gems and rocks when I was younger. I had quite a facinating collection.

Where is the best place to find Cinnabar near the area you mentioned? Is it in the mines or is it laying on the ground?
